Yes, Snow in Georgia!

On February 1 of 2007 we were covered in white flakes here in Aska (some call it Due, GA) in the North Georgia mountains.

Taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XTi 10.1MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens (Black).

Aska Snow

Shallowford Bridge

Fly fishermen and BTM hikers know this Aska landmark well. Hard to believe it is in the State of Georgia. Vermont maybe? No, right here in Aska. I caught my first North Georgia mountains rainbow trout under this bridge seven years ago. This is a thumbnail of the original digital pic, taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XTi 10.1MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens (Black).

Tilley Baptist Church

Back in the woods of Aska, this church is still in use, with a growing fundamentalist congregation today.

Weathered Bluebird House

Toccoa in Snow

Anglers will be casting near this deep bend in the lower Toccoa in a couple months. Maybe a good time to start practicing that cast! Amazon has a great product for you, please take a look.

Sadie Sees Snow

Sadie, my Black and Tan hound, is startled by one of the deepest snows she has seen. She had the same facial expression when the delivery man brought my new fly rod outfit to the door yesterday. I am ready for spring!
