This past Friday, our 20 foot, about 10 year old Yoshino Cherry showed a handful of blossoms, then yesterday it burst into full bloom. These trees grow quickly, and have beautiful bark, branching above the horizontal to vertical, so they are nice along walkways. We expect a frost tonight, so the white to pink flowers now blooming may drop early. These trees have been planted along with "Kwanzan" Cherry in Washington, D.C. and Macon, Georgia for their annual Cherry Blossom Festivals.|Aska Adventure Area|AskaGuide|2008-3-23

The ground behind our cabin slopes steeply, like 1' for every 1' so we built loose low rock wall tiers for our herbs. They are working great so far. And BTW I think oregano helps to lower the bad fat in the body. Oregano is a great all around healthy herb!|North Georgia|AskaGuide|2006-6-17
